Now that we are through a full marking period, we are now ready to start operating more like a real TV station, and produce our own programming, from start to finish.
First Mr. Dahm will hire Executive Producers, who will apply for the job with a resume and Cover letter, just like in the "real world"
If you want to apply, Here's the posting:
If you are not in charge as the E.P., you will be part of a team working under the Producer to get shows on the air. The more you contribute, the better your skills get, the opportunity to become E.P. on an episode increases. That is why it is important to know all the Studio Jobs, and have good pre- and post-production skills. That way you can help your team the most by being versatile. But most importantly, treating your boss and co-workers with respect and having a spirit of teamwork to get the job done. In life you don't get to pick your family, or your co-workers, so getting along with people you may not like to get the job done is more important than being best buddies.
We will be developing job descriptions as a class for the following jobs, like these developed before you, but you may want to revise them as a class.
Meantime, if you have show ideas, see the General Manager, Mr. Dahm, who knows, your initiative may earn you an EP promotion!
