DIRECTOR (EXTRA CREDIT)

 Duties:

• Communicate with crew effectively

• Stay clam and speak clearly and audibly

• Plan Camera shots, follow scripts, or improvise effectively

• Display leadership

AUDIO

Duties:

• Listen to Director ,

• Test mics before show, Check volume levels of microphones, and adjust as needed

• Play music on cue

• Switch audio sources on cue

• Know the sound board controls

SWITCHER

 Duties:

• Listen to Director

• Be Alert and Ready

• Know what the buttons are and what they do

• Switch sources on cue, add graphics on cue

• Use SPFX appropriately

TAPE OPERATOR

 Duties:

• Listen to Director

• Put in Videotape and cue up if necessary (Don’t record over something important!)

• Set deck to “L1”

• Record and playback on cue from director

• Know the deck controls, (play, pause, record, etc.)

• LABEL TAPE and turn in to Mr. Dahm!!!!

Duties:

• Turn on Studio TV Monitor

• Lock and unlock tripod before and after use

• Focus, Zoom, and operate the camera effectively, getting shots the director needs

• Cue talent
