DOCUMENTARY PROJECT

TALENT
Duties: You are the face and voice of the broadcast.  A host needs to be clear voiced and excited to be speaking to the viewer.  If they like you they will keep watching, if they don't......CLICK!!!!  If it seems as if you are interested in the topic, your enthusiasm will show and catch on with the viewer, so don't be afraid to smile if the moment is right!

    Interacting with other group members:

Producer:  He or she is in charge of the script, but you have a say, because if you have trouble reading it out loud, the viewer will be confused.  Keep a close eye on the show as it comes together, and make sure you speak up if anything makes you uncomfortable.
Director: Work with the Director to find visually interesting places to stand to deliver the on camera portions of your show.  If you don't look good, the show will suffer, so make sure there is lots of light and props that support the topic around you.
Researcher: If you don't know what you are talking about you will look DUMB.  Ask him or her about things that confuse you and make sure you understand all of the information.  That will help you in the long run.
