EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Chicopee Public Schools is committed to an on going program to integrate Technology into the Curriculum of all City Public Schools by working with the Department of Education (DOE), our local School Committee, Information Marketing Group (IMG), Merrimack Education Center (MEC), Charter Communications (local cable provider), Administrators, District wide Technology Committee, Teachers, TPD’s, Students and Community leaders to make technology an integral part of our school system.

Technology is important to public education in our community because we are aware that to bring our students into the 21st century technology and the ability to access information will be a necessary part of every ones lives.  Our plan is to do everything we can to update technology in our system to attain this goal.
